Guitar Center Unveils Premium Vintage Guitars and Basses
Guitar Center Vintage held a special, invitation-only vintage event at the Hollywood store to feature some of the most interesting and valuable guitars they've found over the past few years. We had a chance to pry Guitar Center Vintage Director Jack Hetherington and Nick Conte, one of their more experienced vintage buyers and appraisers, away from the preparations for a brief talk about some of the valuable pieces that would be available at this event.
  • If you've never had the opportunity to visit the Hollywood Vintage Room, prepare to be awestruck at your first glance. If there is a vintage guitar heaven, this may well be it. On this occasion, in addition to many of the guitars being displayed on the iconic wall behind the stage, some of the rarest were displayed around the room in open cases.
  • Three-time Grammy Award-nominated jazz drummer, composer and producer Nate Smith recently visited a full house at Guitar Center Hollywood, playing through original compositions and having an illuminating conversation about his musical influences, style, technique and equipment.
  • Guitarist, singer and songwriter Marcus King recently packed the house at the Nashville Guitar Center's Vintage Room for an intimate workshop and interview about his guitars, his career and his creative process.
