Using a capo is often dismissed as being something that only cheaters do when playing their guitar of choice. In fact, some of the top professional guitarists rely on their capo for all kinds of reasons. It helps them pick up songs more efficiently, switch up for jamming sessions, and allows players to learn songs even faster.

Here, Brian Green shares how using a capo has allowed him to open up some playing terriroty, expand his professional opportunities, incorporate open strings, add different effects, and create unexpected sounds.
