V-MODA Crossfade M-100 Master Headphones Main Features

Description
Featuring dual-diaphragm 50 mm drivers with Japanese CCAW coil, the Crossfade M-100 Master delivers Hi-Res Audio certified by the Japan Audio Society (JAS) and a sophisticated sound signature blending exciting bass and unparalleled clarity in an immersive 3D sound stage.
The SteelFlex headband ensures a snug fit and superior durability while the patented CliqFold hinge makes the Crossfade M-100 Master the ideal heavy-duty musical travel companion, folding into the compact protective Exoskeleton case that can be clipped onto backpacks or luggage thanks to its carabiner clip.
The large-size memory foam ear cushions provide ultimate comfort for fatigue-free extended listening sessions, relieving pressure on the headband and the user's ears while naturally isolating the listener from external noise. Their breathable 100% polyurethane vegan leather coating can also be found on the headband, rendering the Crossfade M-100 Master more sweat resistant and equally suitable for long, energetic performances.
Designed to consistently provide excellent sound quality from the deepest bass to the sharpest highs, the Crossfade M-100 Master is tuned for all genres of music. With a reengineered thermopolymer driver cover, it also exhibits the structural stability to support a vast tonal range by reducing stress on the drivers and improving their performance and reliability.
The Crossfade M-100 Master is available in classic Matte Black and includes both the aramid-fiber reinforced SpeakEasy 1-Button Cable with a built-in professional-grade microphone for crystal clear calls and an Extended SharePlay Audio Cable.

When there's only one chance to impress
If we want to have everything available for a memorable event, these headphones help us maintain that one area of concern while performing on stage, and that's absolute clarity in your ears. We've gone through several different company's, designs and advice from others looking for "the ultimate ones". While we've been given our first few sets of these headphones, we forgot them on our last trip to St.Louis. We explained our dilema to the promoter and he eased our panic by buying a pair from Guitar Center. These headphones are worth more than their cost if you really want to have your best chances of creating something that promoters will bring you back again, and again for. With so much that needs attention while performing, your hearing shouldn't require any extra focus from you. I really can't say enough about this gear, it's almost an industry secret....

A+ Consumer Headphones, C+ for DJs
I can see how these headphones would be GREAT for a general purpose consumer. I was sold on these being told they would be great for my live DJ sets. During my sets I need to be able to monitor the mains, cue, and have a conversation all at the same time. However, they were very uncomfortable while single ear monitoring. While wearing them around my neck they were very stiff and would not allow my chin to drop while looking down. They were only comfortable while wearing them on both ears. The bass sounds amazing but is too loud for extended periods of monitoring. Because of the inconveniences I experienced while giving I have came to the the conclusion these are great for general consumer listing only. If you intend on using them for general listing only you will be thrilled by the sound quality. The bass quality is GREAT; very low and clear. The highs are clean and crisp.

Multi-purpose Beasts!!!

I owned a pair similar to this unit last year that were made specifically to enhance the user experience playing my Roland TD27KV2. I was extremely happy with those cans, so when it came time to purchase a pair of phones for my music creation/production, these were an easy choice for me. A little context, I create music on an M2 pro MacBook Pro with heavy use of NIs Mashine mk3, Ableton Live 12, and a bevy of plugins and softsynths. I was using a pair of BD DT 770 pro 80 ohms and they were fine, but these v-Midas are what my creativity was missing. Everything sounds bigger and more lush. Amazing build quality.

I use these for home studio, and recording. They have some of the greatest sound reproduction at this cost and above. I play and record my bass (including EUB) guitar, and guitar from a Caparison, to a Stratocaster, Telecaster, and Jazz Box. Everything sounds great with no dropout or clipping.
The worst pair of headphones I've ever bought

This brand is a ripoff. I have this pair and the more expensive ones from vmoda and both of them have broken within a couple months. Screws come out and the brackets are loose. They just made extremely cheap headphones and put an expensive price tag on them. NOT WORTH IT!!!
Wish it fit my large head

Everything but lightweight, you'll feel these headphones especially if you have a lot of hair on your head. Perfect, they are expensive but well worth the life. Vmoda offers great coverage that will guarantee two year. So do most electronic or music store guaranteeing two years as well. Worth it.
