Yamaha P-125a Digital Piano Overview
Description
Bring the elegance of a concert piano into your living space with the Yamaha P-125ABLB digital piano. Designed to look beautiful in the home while performing like a professional instrument, this digital piano features the acclaimed Pure CF Sound Engine and a fully weighted graded hammer action. It offers a premium playing experience in a compact footprint—complete with a stylish wooden stand and padded bench. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned musician, the P-125ABLB blends Yamaha's trusted engineering with real acoustic feel for everyday inspiration.
Digital Piano Sound Powered by Yamaha Pure CF
Enjoy the rich, expressive tone of a concert grand with Yamaha's Pure CF Sound Engine. This digital piano faithfully reproduces the dynamics and detail of the world-renowned CFIIIS 9' concert grand, from bold bass resonance to sparkling high notes. With 24 built-in instrument voices—including pianos, strings and electric keyboards—you'll have versatile sound options for everything from classical performances to creative arrangements.
Graded Hammer Action for Authentic Digital Piano Feel
The 88-key graded hammer standard keyboard mimics the natural weight and response of an acoustic grand. Heavier in the low end and lighter in the highs, this realistic action helps you build proper technique and expressive control. The matte black keytops provide a comfortable, non-slip feel even during long practice sessions. It's a digital piano designed to help players connect deeply with their music.
Furniture-Style Digital Piano With Home-Friendly Design
With its clean lines and contemporary finish, the P-125ABLB looks right at home in any room. The included wooden stand elevates the instrument to standard playing height while the padded bench provides comfort for extended sessions. Measuring just over 52" wide, it's compact enough for small apartments or shared spaces—yet fully capable of delivering a powerful musical experience.
Digital Piano Features That Support Creativity
This digital piano includes a suite of features that make learning and performing more fun. Dual and split modes allow you to combine or divide sounds for unique arrangements. A built-in metronome, transpose and tuning functions support structured practice while dual headphone jacks make it easy to play privately or with a teacher. The intuitive control panel keeps everything within reach so you can focus on playing, not menu diving.

Yamaha is a solid purchase, and this keyboard is no exception. The speakers / sound is certainly adequate, and the feel of the keys themselves is excellent (especially if you like your keys a touch on the stiffer side). The bench is comfortable, and the entire set was easy to assemble. It's more pleasant to play than my GF's 20-year-old piano. The 45-day price match is amazing too, great price on and excellent keyboard!

We read lots of reviews and settled on the P125A kit after considering several more higher priced options for a beginner electric piano. It took about 30 minutes to build the set up. It sounds beautiful and feels well made. No complaints so far!

Bought this for my 7 year old twins that have been taking piano for 3 years. It was time to move to a more advanced instrument and was a much less expensive solution compared to an upright piano. Sound is fantastic too!
Great value - best in class

I am a performing pianist and use this for wineries and restaurants. Splendid sound and good keybed with lightweight frame. Better tone than many high end instruments.
