Description
Bring home the beauty of a grand piano in a compact, home-friendly design with the Yamaha Arius YDP-145 traditional console digital piano with bench. This elegant instrument blends timeless style with modern Yamaha innovation, making it a perfect fit for players at any stage. Featuring CFX concert grand piano sampling and Graded Hammer Standard key action, it delivers rich tone and realistic feel that inspires confident playing. Whether you're just starting lessons or practicing advanced repertoire, the YDP-145 offers expressive sound, a natural touch and an inviting setup built to elevate your daily routine.
CFX Grand Piano Sampling for Rich Tonality
The Yamaha Arius YDP-145 features sampling from Yamaha's legendary CFX concert grand piano, renowned for its powerful bass and clear highs. This advanced sound engine captures the dynamic range and tonal complexity of the CFX, ensuring every note resonates with depth and clarity. The model includes 10 voices, including two grand pianos, electric pianos and strings, allowing players to explore a variety of sounds. Dual and layer functions enable combining voices for rich, textured arrangements. Whether playing delicate classical pieces or bold compositions, the CFX sampling delivers a vibrant and immersive sound experience that inspires creativity and expression.
Graded Hammer Standard Action for Authentic Playability
This digital piano incorporates Yamaha's Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) key action, providing a realistic playing experience with weighted keys that simulate the feel of an acoustic piano. The GHS action features heavier touch in the lower registers and lighter touch in the higher registers, mirroring the response of traditional hammers. This helps players build proper finger strength and control while offering a comfortable and engaging touch. The synthetic ebony and ivory key tops enhance grip and reduce slipping during extended practice sessions. With its carefully calibrated action, the YDP-145 ensures expressive dynamics and precise control for both beginners and advanced players.
Built-In Features for Enhanced Sound Control
The YDP-145 includes Intelligent Acoustic Control (IAC) technology, ensuring clear and balanced sound at all volume levels. This feature automatically adjusts frequency balance based on the output level, maintaining the piano's tonal integrity whether playing softly or at full volume. A built-in metronome and recording function support practice and composition while USB connectivity allows integration with learning apps and DAWs. The Stereophonic Optimizer enhances headphone playback by simulating the spatial effect of sound as heard from the piano's speakers, creating an immersive and natural listening experience during silent practice sessions. These thoughtful features provide players with both convenience and control.
Elegant Console Design for Durability and Style
The Yamaha Arius YDP-145 is housed in a traditional console design that complements any home environment. Its sturdy frame ensures durability while the matching bench adds comfort and aesthetic appeal. The instrument's wood-finished cabinet is available in a range of colors, allowing players to choose a look that fits their space. The built-in speaker system is discreetly integrated into the console, delivering robust sound without compromising the sleek design. The durable construction and timeless styling make this piano an enduring addition to any home, offering reliable performance and visual elegance.
A Classic Digital Piano for the Home
The Yamaha Arius YDP-145 digital piano is perfect for players seeking a full-sized instrument that fits seamlessly into their living space. Its authentic key action, advanced sound engine and elegant design make it an excellent choice for students, hobbyists or families looking to invest in a high-quality home piano. wonderful piano, check the unit after shipping for damage
We were looking for a weighted-key piano for our children to use when they begin piano lessons, and to use ourselves. After some research, we landed on the Arius YDP-145 for its balance between high-quality build, sound, and feel, as well as the pedals, vs. something either lower-end or higher-end. During the research, I read that some people complained that their unit was damaged or nicked after shipping. We could not pick up locally and had no choice but to ship. Sadly, after putting it together, we realized that ours had some damage in the corner as well. Given that we had already set it up and the cosmetic damage was not immediately noticeable unless someone was specifically looking, we decided to keep it rather than go through the hassle of trying to get a replacement. So, we would advise to check your unit for damage before assembling. 4/5 stars because of what seems to be a recurrent problem with damage after shipping, but the piano works, sounds, and feels great.

I love the feel of this keyboard, I love the sound compared to my other keyboard. I've only had this Keyboard almost 2months and my only issue is that Middle C is starting to making a Clicking Noise every time I play that note, not playing hard or anything like that, I'm still a beginner, but besides that, its Wonderful. Will have to Contact Yamaha though to get this issue fixed, not too annoying but it shouldn't be clicking.

It is a very decent piano. Plays well has metronome and few other sounds. My only thing is that sometimes it has a problem with playing two sounds at the same time. When applied pressure is not equal one button is not heard. Otherwise it is perfect for beginners.

What exactly does "duo-mode split the keyboard into two halves, each with their own middle C for practicing with a partner" mean? I won't be practicing with a partner, so what effect does this have? is the keyboard different somehow?
If you don't use the split fuction - it's not on automatically - it won't do anything. Many digital units have a split ability. It's common. .submitted2 years ago
