Description
The Williams Allegro IV digital piano delivers the touch and sound of a concert grand piano in a highly portable and feature-rich package. At its core is a stereo grand piano sound meticulously sampled from a renowned Italian concert instrument, capturing its full tonal depth and dynamic range. The 88-key hammer-weighted keyboard replicates the authentic feel of an acoustic piano, making it ideal for developing proper technique. With 12 premium instrument voices, including vintage electric pianos, strings, and choir, this digital piano supports both creative exploration and technical growth. Its advanced speaker system and Bluetooth connectivity elevate practice and performance alike, ensuring a high-quality experience with every note played.
Advanced Digital Piano Speaker System With DSP Technology
The Allegro IV stands out with its powerful speaker system, designed to deliver a professional-grade listening experience. Dual drivers, including woofers and tweeters, are housed in ported cabinets that enhance bass response while maintaining clarity across the frequency spectrum. Integrated DSP tuning ensures precise sound reproduction, from resonant lows to sparkling highs. This system projects a rich, room-filling sound that feels immersive whether you're practicing or performing. The advanced engineering behind the speakers makes this digital piano a standout choice for anyone seeking studio-quality audio in a compact design.
Allegro IV Authentic Hammer-Weighted Keyboard
The 88 full-sized, hammer-weighted keys of this model provide a tactile playing experience that closely mimics the feel of an acoustic piano. Graded action ensures a heavier touch in the lower register and a lighter touch in the upper, supporting nuanced dynamic control. Velocity sensitivity translates the intensity of your playing into expressive tonal changes, making it easy to convey emotion through music. Whether you're tackling classical repertoire or modern compositions, this keyboard provides the responsiveness and authenticity needed for precise, expressive performances.
Bluetooth Audio and MIDI Integration
The Allegro IV offers seamless connectivity with modern devices thanks to its Bluetooth audio and MIDI capabilities. Stream your favorite tracks or video tutorials directly through the piano's high-quality speakers for interactive practice sessions. Bluetooth MIDI compatibility enables wireless integration with apps for learning, recording, or sound customization. Additionally, the built-in USB audio/MIDI interface allows direct connection to a computer, making it a versatile tool for studio use. These features ensure that the Allegro IV is as functional as it is inspiring, bridging traditional play with cutting-edge technology.
Portable Design With Included Sustain Pedal
Designed with portability in mind, this digital piano combines a lightweight build with advanced features, making it ideal for musicians on the move. Its compact form factor is easy to transport, yet it houses a robust construction that can withstand regular use. The included sustain pedal adds expressive control, simulating the nuanced pedal techniques of an acoustic piano. For a more complete setup, optional accessories such as a wooden stand and triple-pedal unit are available to enhance the experience. This thoughtful design ensures the Allegro IV is ready for both practice and performance.

Great Sound, Feel and Features. Awesome Value.
I was looking for a digital piano that my daughter could learn on, but that would also be satisfying for me to play. Since I learned on a grand piano, I was not willing to sacrifice realistic sound and feel; but was hoping to find something reasonably priced with good Bluetooth and MIDI connectivity. I played a dozen models from different manufacturers, including a couple very high-end models. I scrutinized each for keyboard responsiveness and feel, and sound quality both from the on-board speakers, and through my Sennheiser HD 280 Pro studio headphones. For the price, the Allegro IV stood out, and I frankly had a hard time telling any real difference between it and even models costing 5 times as much. Very realistic in all respects, and I also appreciated the clear, simple controls and having a pair of headphone jacks in front. I found myself quickly annoyed by other models where I had to dig around the back to plug in, also causing the coiled wire on my headphones to get in the way of playing. Setup at home was super easy, as was connecting to the Williams app on my iPhone and iPad. I was expecting the app to be garbage, but it was intuitive and useful, allowing you to customize the reverb and chorus effects, set the metronome for different time signatures, and includes a drum machine which I prefer over metronomes for practice. I really like this approach, which keeps the controls on the keyboard simple (easy for kids), but still gives you lots of customization options and functionality through the app. I was worried that GarageBand, Yousician and other apps would not recognize Bluetooth MIDI from the keyboard, but that was also a breeze to get working. The on-board sounds are top-notch and easy to get to. At first I thought there was a problem with the sustain pedal not working with the organ sounds, but then realized the pedal was actually changing the rotation rate of the mod-effect, producing a super-realistic Leslie amp sound. Nice touch. While nothing sounds and plays like an actual grand-piano, the 88 weighted, hammer style keys and rich, realistic sound make the Allegro IV a great choice for beginning players to develop solid skills, and also for more experienced players. The built-in sounds, features and connectivity were everything I was looking for, and more. Don't think you can beat this piano on value. Highly recommend.

Mostly good, with some defects
This is good for practice at my home. I like the responsive action of the keys, and integration with iOS app. (Would like an Android app option.) Sound quality isn't consistent enough for performance. A couple functions (damper pedal, transpose and octave) don't work right with about 9 months ownership.

I was nervous about buying my own digital piano at first, but I am so glad that I did. I've used it for my school jazz band rehearsals and concerts as well as background music for a company party. The Allegro IV looks sleek everywhere that I have taken it. The keys feel great, and the action responds well at both my quietest and loudest dynamics. The sounds have so much depth and sound great both soloing and accompanying. It is very user friendly and manageable, and the included owner's manual clears up any questions that I have about different functions. The headphones are super clear and are great for silent practice, while the line outs are great. The sustain that it comes with is good, but it is able to be swapped out with other pedals that have the same size jack. The Williams Piano app also allows fine tuning on any setting imaginable, and really levels up the whole thing. Would 100% recommend for any musician!

I had read several bad reviews on the IV. Stopped in to GC in Hickory, NC and checked it out. Had to try it out and took one home. I am a very senior beginner. Thee keys appear to be weighted like the church piano, sounds wonderful and has just enough extras to start with.
