Resonator boxes feature integrated handles and a mallet holder. The resonance plate on these bars is adjustable to provide optimum vibration of the bar. The contra bass bars may be used individually or in combination with a deep bass xylophone. The sub-contra bass bars can reproduce timpani voicing.
