The C5 Traditional Custom Series trumpet is a good choice for the player looking for an all-around performance instrument similar to the C3 model. The C5 trumpet has slightly more resistance than the C3, with a slightly tighter design of the main tuning slide. This model provides flexibility in sound color with continuity in timbre in all registers and outstanding projection.

The C5 trumpet is available in two variations—a fixed yellow brass bell, or a tunable yellow brass bell—each designed to customize the instrument performance to the player.

  • Available versions: C5, C5L
  • C5 – Yellow brass fixed bell. A medium throat #3 bell with a taper graduated for even and full-bodied tone.
  • C5L – Tunable yellow brass bell. The detachable bell design allows tuning from the bell, to offer a more open, free feeling in the upper register. With less bracing, the response feels quicker by allowing the bell to resonate more to improve projection.
