Fear Not - This Case Does the Job!!
I needed a new hard case for a Takamine G Series guitar that I bought 16 years ago. I was nervous abut the fit and durability when I placed the order, although the price was right so I went for it. I couldn't be happier. First, the case durability is great. I don't understand why some of these reviews has me nervous about that, which is the main reason why I am taking time to write this review. It's a solid case. Don't be nervous about that. I have another, more expensive instrument that came with a custom case and yes...that one is like the Fort Knox of cases. That guitar was a few thousand dollars so it darn well better come protected, right?! While this case is not hand-carved from steel to protect against sledgehammers and missiles, it is the closest possible thing to a custom case that I have seen. We have all seen our share of those flimsy cardboard cases out there and this simply isn't comparable to those in any way. Again, I'm confused about people's reaction to the durability. It's great. Next, the fit was surprisingly perfect. This was another concern because I didn't want my guitar to rattle around at all. My model is older so I was a bit worried. It doesn't move a bit and the neck isn't stressed in any way. It literally is a PERFECT fit. Overall, if you need a case for general use, this is a good one. Go for it, especially such a reasonable price.

Decent except for latches are soft
A good case, could easily be a 5 star case. Pros: It's really spacious for Dreadnoughts, it's deep, really deep...deeper than the average dreadnought body, so you get everything inside safely. It's also nicely lined. Outer material is strong, and works well with scratches. The one I got, I found the metal latches very soft in texture, they bend very easily, if you push the latch down it bends under your thumb. The latch near the base was bent easily in transporting as carry on luggage. It's a hard case, it's suppose to take a little pounding, and it didn't do well here...at least the metal latches.

Purchased this case for my Martin concert series acoustic. The guitar fits perfectly, and the case provides just the protection I need. Especially for the affordable price.

Bought my guitar case recently and have been very happy with it. I bought my first guitar case from Guitar Center as well a few years ago and still happy about that one too.
I really like this case!

#sweepstakes. An exceptional case that keeps the guitar safe, despite many kids and cats running around. Also not too heavy or cumbersome. Very happy with purchase and would buy again.

Is a 3 quarter case and youth guitar case the same size ?
Not quite — a 3/4 guitar case and a youth guitar case are similar in concept but not necessarily the same size. Here's the breakdown: 3/4 Guitar Case Designed for 3/4-size guitars, which are about 36 inches long on average. Typically used by younger players or for travel guitars. Fits classical, acoustic, or electric guitars, depending on body shape and depth. "Youth" is more of a marketing term and can vary by brand. Often refers to smaller-sized guitars meant for children, which could be: 1/2 size (~34" guitars) 3/4 size (~36" guitars) Sometimes even 7/8 size or mini guitars.submitted14 days ago

Will it fit taylor 114ce?
The Road Runner RRDWA Deluxe Wood Dreadnought Acoustic Case is designed for standard dreadnought-shaped acoustic guitars, and the Taylor 114ce is a Grand Auditorium shape, which is slightly different. Key Differences: Dreadnought: Squared shoulders, deeper body, slightly wider. Grand Auditorium (Taylor 114ce): Narrower waist, more curvy, and slightly smaller than a dreadnought. Fit Consideration: The 114ce might fit, but not snugly: It will likely have extra room around the waist and upper bout.submitted2 months ago
