Exceeded my expectations

I bought this in-store at Guitar Center but liked it enough I wanted to write this review online. Fits my short scale Squier bullet mustang, actually a little snug on it... I'm not sure how it would (or even could) fit a normal scale guitar. I had bought my guitar and asked about a gig bag to take it home in and they directed me to this one… I had no idea what to pick, just went with their suggestion and I am glad. I've had it for about two years and the padding feels reinforced enough that it is surprisingly thick and sturdy. The zippers seem durable, the handle doesn't seem like it will rip, and the outside pocket can hold a lot more stuff than you think it can. (I have crammed many things in there- two guitar cables of different lengths, a clip-on tuner, picks, a capo, a folder with guitar tabs, a power supply for my Blackstar mini amp, extra strap blocks, an extra guitar strap…you can also fit something else small in the extra zippered pocket near the headstock end.) This gig bag honestly really exceeded my expectations, I rarely write reviews but I wanted to for this. The only negative I can think of is that as I said earlier I don't think it would fit a normal scale guitar. That aside I don't think most of the gig bags out there are this sturdy, and some of them are even more expensive than this for less quality. So if you are looking for a gig bag, or bought a cheaper guitar and can't justify spending possibly as much as the guitar itself on a hard case for it but still need some protection, I think this gig bag is The One. Sorry for the long review, I just typed out all of this to go a bit in-depth, and I hope it helps someone make a decision. Happy practicing :)

Bittersweet buy.

I use the back to transfer guitars to and from work so that I can practice anytime. It's solid, feels durable, fits guitar a bit snuggly. Have to remove tremolo before bagging. It's just as worthy as cases half the price. I waited in line for almost 35 minutes to get it. When it rang up, I nearly croaked. But at that point I was in a hurry, so I just went with it. I will be running it through the ringers to see if it last longer than my other guitar bag for 6 years.

Great design, enough room for my books and binders. Zippers are easy to work and good quality. It has backpack straps and a handle to hold it, but no shoulder strap. The padding is good and protects my Strat and has room for the shoulder strap. I has a small zipper pouch at the top which is perfect for picks and my phone.

  • Great gig bag! My Epiphone Les Paul is an exact fit!

I didn't want a hard case, because my brass resonator already weighs a ton! This bag is light and gives good protection.
