Description
The Reverend Buckshot is a great take on a classic single cutaway-style guitar. The offset body is korina, a tonewood usually found in vintage and boutique guitars. Roasted maple necks are the hallmark of high-end instruments; the one on the Buckshot has a beautiful caramel color. With a medium oval profile and angled neck heel, your hands will scoot up and down the roasted maple fretboard with ease.
The Buckshot is all about the pickups. The Greasy T single coil at the bridge delivers fat tone with bite and a percussive attack. The Retro Blast at the neck is full and warm, but it’s a bit leaner than a full-sized humbucker. A bass contour control revoices the pickups. The treble-bleed circuit keeps the highs when the volume is low. If you want vintage twang that's more versatile, the Buckshot is the guitar for you.
The Buckshot employs pin-lock tuners for super-fast string changes and exceptional tuning stability. Other features include custom dome knobs, a Triple Tree string tree, Pure Tone jack, TOM bridge with stoptail, Boneite nut and a hand-signed, initialed headstock.
