Best Throne EVER!!!

The Throne is the most comfortable seat I have ever sat in. Before, I would have cramps from sitting in my old seat, but now, I can Play for hours and never hurt! The hydrolic lift is also great for quick adjustment! All around it is a great seat and the best you can buy!!

good throne bad service

This by far was the best throne in all of the stores I checked out. It is definatley sturdy and all of the reviews across the internet say it is long lasting. However, the service was horrible. I got the box and brought it home. I opened the box and it turned out to be the three leg version which is not as sturdy. Knowing it was just a mistake I brought it back the next day which is a 15 minute drive from my house. I asked for the right one and they didn't have it so they said to go to another store. That weekend I went to the other store which was about 45 minutes from my house. I got the box and decided to open it in the store. It turned out to be the wrong one again. I had to talk with the manager for about 10 minutes until he said he'd give me the right one. Finally they did. Anyways, check the throne while you are still at the store

Solid product. Stable and good range of heights for both piano or guitar, and obviously drums. The adjustable height shock works well, unless if you're only about 100 pounds as you need more weight to go down. Very comfortable seat.

This chair is wide and comfortable. It's also taller than the Nitro when fully extended, which is great, as I'm about 6 feet tall, and 205 pounds. Yes, it is expensive, but it's great if you practice guitar a lot and don't want your butt/ back to hurt. I also picked up a foot stool, and the combination is perfect. The only issue I had was my seat would drop a few inches every so often, randomly. Maybe 3 inches. This happend dozens of times. I contacted Roc-N-Soc, who were able to validate this problem and fix it. If I had to pay for the repair, I'd have left a 1 star review, as the chair is less than five months old. But they did validate, and then fix the issue. 5 stars! On a side note, I used to own the Nitro, returned it and bought the lunar, because of the extra height and slide ability. With the Nitro I also bought the backrest, and couldn't stand it at all. It pushed me forward (even fully adjusted), and made me feel like I was on the edge of the chair. This may be a plus for drummer(?), but not for my purpose of playing my guitar. And without the backrest my posture is better, and never causes fatigue. ...The more you know!!

Very comfortable and ergonomic. I can practice guitar for longer periods without back pain, etc. I wish I would have purchased one a long time ago.

Yes, several drummers have reported issues with the ROC-N-SOC Lunar Series Gas Lift Drum Throne sliding on smooth surfaces like hardwood floors, particularly when playing intensely, due to the design of its base and the smooth rubber feet, which can sometimes cause slippage, especially on slick surfaces; this is a common complaint found in online reviews.

    Hello -

I'm just wondering what style of seat the Red one is? The pictured one is a Hugger seat. I'm hoping for the "Original" style (a bit larger, like the black one pictured).

Thank you for the help

The vendor model number that we have for the red is LSG O-R which would designate it as the Original.
