The SE Silver Sky Maple | Demo | PRS Guitars

Description
PRS Guitars is proud to introduce the SE Silver Sky, their latest iteration of the popular Silver Sky electric guitar. This workhorse guitar provides a range of tones and effortless playability for guitarists of all styles. The SE Silver Sky starts with a poplar body and adds a bolt-on maple neck and maple fretboard with PRS trademark bird inlays. The 22-fret, 25.5" scale length neck features the original 635JM carve and an 8.5" fretboard radius for a familiar feel. Plug it in and the three single-coil 635JM "S" pickups will produce a variety of electric guitar sounds from rock to blues and everything in between.
635JM Pickups Provide Versatile Tone
The three 635JM single-coil pickups are voiced to produce a range of classic electric guitar tones. The bridge pickup delivers a bright, articulate tone perfect for rock and country leads. The middle pickup produces a punchy tone ideal for new wave and post-punk rhythm parts. The neck pickup yields a warm, round tone perfect for jazz, blues and classic rock. With three pickups and a 5-way blade switch, guitarists have a wealth of tonal options at their fingertips.
High-Quality Components Provide Stability and Playability
The SE Silver Sky is equipped with components designed for performance and durability. It features a two-point steel tremolo bridge that provides stable tuning and intonation for dynamic techniques like dives, warbles and flutter. The synthetic bone nut and vintage-style tuners work in concert to keep the guitar in tune through the most rigorous performances.
Familiar Neck Profile and Fretboard Radius
The SE Silver Sky's bolt-on maple neck has a familiar 635JM profile and 8.5" fretboard radius, providing a comfortable feel for guitarists accustomed to contemporary electric guitars. The 22 medium-jumbo frets offer ample space for expressive soloing and chordal work.
High-Quality Gig Bag Included
For portability and protection, PRS includes a high-quality gig bag with the purchase of the SE Silver Sky. The gig bag features padded straps for comfortable carrying, as well as ample storage space for cables, straps, sheet music and other small accessories.

I have been playing acoustic for 35 years and recently decided to explore the electric side of things. Purchased this on extensive research through reviews and YouTube. After playing this for about a month, I can say I definitely I made a good choice. The fretwork on this is buttery smooth, no ruff frets, no fret buzz, love the neck profile. The only thing I did was lower the action a bit. I have been using it at church and have totally fallen in love with it. I paired it with a Boss GX100 and all is well. The Neon Blue with the maple neck is a beaut!
I would buy this again, but a few surprising misses...
