I am an electronic music producer and DJ! I bought this so I could record direct audio out of my Pioneer 900NXS2 mixer in order to create content videos playing out my upcoming IDs as well as recording my live sets start to finish for every show.
Worthless for on-the-go live streaming.

I bought this specifically to live stream concerts. It is particularly ill suited for this task. It must be tethered to a computer with streaming software like OBS. The fixed camera focal points dramatically limited shooting options. I was far better served by an external phone mic.

Can this be used as an audio interface and go into a daw? Or do you have to save the video first then pull the audio in. Thanks.
I can't see why not. You could use the headphone output. All the DAW wants is an input.
