it works great but for this price you'd think Shure would at least give you a plastic carrying case so its not damaged in your equipment van..

Our church purchased 3 of these systems over a year ago and they work great. Use them every time, and every week with no issues at all. Sound great and extremely reliable!

I broke down and purchased this unit to get away from the wired head unit I currently use. I love every bit of it, from setting up and scanning for a station to actually using it! These are so clear and just what the doctor ordered! I have a Shure wireless guitar system too so this is the complete package. I was apprehensive about spending this amount of money as I will most likely only use it for church, we use floor monitors elsewhere. I'm glad I did. Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 is because you would never use the included earbuds for a performance. I already have the Shure 215 and 315 so I saved $100 by purchasing this unit. It is worth the $100 to get better ear monitors (they cost $100 at GC anyway) and it also has an upgraded receiver, but I will tell you that this one is flawless so it wasn't worth the extra money for me. Great job Shure!

I am given the choice to "select styles." The difference is the band; either G20 or J13. What is the difference and what about my specifics should I consider in making my decision?

They are models to mark which frequency they operate within. This is mainly if you want to run two of them. If you have one that's the G20 and the other is J13, you won't have a problem. But if you get 2 of the G20's it will cancel out and you'll get signal drop because they are pretty much fighting over the signal.

How many body packs can this unit handle? I have a 5 piece band and was looking for a in ear wireless system that would handle 5 packs.
