    I just wanted to note that there is an off/on button so the light does not have to stay on. It can also be changed between red, blue, green, blue/green and white. Thee reviews I read said it did not have an on/off switched. It must have been upgraded.

    Overall, it's a good product, it feels like cheap plastic, and the wall anchors I wouldn't trust. I personally put 8d screws and thankfully the studs are true 18" on center, so they are anchored properly.

    Love the look of the light. Only changes I would make would be a timer for the light and different colors or finishes for the cover plate

    It's 'Always On' and requires 2 AA batteries.

I plan on hanging my guitars on this product indefinitely, 95% of the time will not be in the room to enjoy the lights and it'd be a waste of battery life, assuming YES to question #1)
