Martin Guitar Nazareth Factory Tour Part 2

Description
The Martin X Series Special D-X2E acoustic-electric guitar gives you the chance to experience the legendary Martin tone and playability. This dreadnought-style guitar features a solid spruce top and durable high-pressure laminate back and sides that produce a balanced, articulate tone perfect for any playing style.
Solid Spruce Top Provides Crisp, Bell-like Highs
The solid spruce top of the D-X2E provides crisp highs and clear articulation, allowing each note to ring out with a bell-like chime. Spruce is a lightweight, resonant wood that creates an open and airy tone with impressive projection so your music reaches the back of the room.
High-Pressure Laminate Back and Sides Add Depth and Warmth
The high-pressure laminate back and sides contribute depth, warmth and a solid low end to balance the spruce top. This eco-friendly material provides the appearance of rosewood with enhanced durability for longevity. Together with the spruce top, they generate the characteristic Martin tone that works equally well for strumming chords, fingerpicking or playing lead lines.
Slim, Comfortable Neck and 12" Radius Fingerboard for Easy playability
The select mahogany neck and Richlite fingerboard of the D-X2E are designed for fast, comfortable playability across all frets. The slim, oval-shaped neck profile and 12" radius fingerboard allow chords and single notes to ring out clearly with little effort. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned guitarist, you'll find this guitar a responsive and enjoyable instrument to play.
Onboard Martin E-1 Electronics for Amplified Performance
The D-X2E comes equipped with Martin E-1 electronics, giving you the ability to plug in for live shows or recording. The E-1 pickup and preamp system accurately captures the guitar's acoustic tone and allows you to adjust both volume and tone to suit the venue or mix. The onboard tuner lets you quickly tune up for optimum sound. Simply connect to an amplifier, mixing board or interface and you're ready to share your music with others.
Craftsmanship and Value From 180 Years of Experience
Martin has been handcrafting acoustic guitars since 1833, combining old-world craftsmanship and new technologies to make high-quality, great-sounding instruments accessible to all. The D-X2E gives you a chance to experience Martin's heritage of tone and playability at an affordable price, with a guitar designed to bring you years of enjoyment.

This guitar gives you genuine Martin sound and playability. I've played the rest of the X-series guitars and this one, with the spruce top, is special. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to experience a Martin, but doesn't have the budget.
I would buy this product again.

I enjoying playing the guitar because it relaxes me. Just playing along with jam tracks in my spare time gives me a peaceful feeling and relieves my stress. My family loves to hear the soothing sound of chords and melodies. The tones of electric acoustic guitar gives us a nostalgia feel for blues and jazz favorites.
Great entry level Martin!

Bought my DX2E on sale at a great price. Despite any concerns about MIM quality, the fit, finish and feel of this entry level Martin guitar has me playing more often and fretting better than I have in years (I'm a +/- 40 year novice player / hobbyist). Great way to get into the Martin brand and, with the electronics, I can see this guitar being a safe choice for gigging / jamming and open mike nights without any concerns over loss or damage.
Surprisingly did not suck

With low expectations for this entry level, Im reminded that some seriously good guitars (Japanese Takamine and Alvarez Yairi) are also laminated back/sides..This guitar has its moments: the solid (hand rubbed?) top resonates, came w/ Lifespan strings which bring volume and sizzle. Dont expect rosewood low end, but thats ok, this guitar speaks via the upper mids, and still sounds very Martin-y. Beefy comfy neck. Amplified, the pickup sucks (please no more Fishman Sonicore/tone!). Run it thru a multi-fx with an acoustic IR + parametric+ good amp and you should be good. Oh and the gigbag is decent.
