collapse expand iconDescription

The Vista Deer Baritone Acoustic-Electric Ukulele from Luna blurs the line between fine art and modern instrument construction. A traditional baritone body with koa back and sides deliver enhanced tone and projection while detailed pearl Moon Phase inlays along a rosewood fretboard provide a touch of class. The baritone uke can also be hooked up to an amp with the Fishman Kula preamp and built-in tuner. Whether on a big stage or in a more intimate setting, the Vista Deer Baritone acoustic-electric ukulele provides clear, strong and natural acoustic sound. I may just be picky or prefer a more natural finish but the gloss around the neck was just to off-putting for me to keep this piece for the price I paid. The top of the neck had an air bubble under the gloss above the neck fret marker. The outer corner of the neck was scratched and rough. The fret markers had a hazy-frothy glow about them I found unattractive. The frets looked scratched and gnarled or filed. This ukulele sounded fine.

You can have the strings swapped out at your local store. You would just have it shipped there and have it done before you pick it up.
