Pleasantly Suprised!
The 5 star rating isn`t that this guitar is "better" than more expensive instruments, but, rather for the quality that you get for the money paid.....this is a very decent sounding and playable instrument. If you`re after a nylon sound on a budget this guitar deserves consideration.

Needs work to be playable
This guitar looks really beautiful, but needed $100 in work from a luthier (NOT Guitar Center, I couldn't even get anyone to speak to me on the phone or in person when I went back about this issue) to make it playable. The frets were so sharp that they scratched my hand when I tried to move up and down the neck. Additionally, the saddle was so loose that I could remove it even with the strings on. This was incredibly disappointing, as it was brand new, out of the box.

The Lucero LC150SCE is a great choice for getting into this style of amplified classical guitars. As you learn more and get better with your playing and can afford more expensive models, you might just end up wanting to keep this one around to.

Love this guitar. Well worth the purchase if you are looking for a good guitar for the price. I bought it at a great discount knowing that it would be "blemished". It certainly was but sounds good.
I would buy this guitar again

What size wrench for truss rod. Was not supplied when I purchased from GC last week. 4mm to small, 4.5mm doesn't fit.
The easiest way to figure out what size is required would be to bring the guitar by your local store and they can try a few of them out, or you can purchase a multi-tool with all the standard sizes. It's possible (but I highly doubt) it could be in standard rather that metric, but more than likely it's just an off-cuff size in between. I would recommend getting one of the multi tool Alan wrench sets and that should have one that will cover it.submitted3 years ago
