My Favorite Besides Mogami Gold
I'm a guitarist and audiophile who is very particular about my tone. I will swap cables back and forth listening for slight differences (along with doing before and after recordings when changing pickups, modifying wah pedals, etc). I compared these head-to-head with Lava Clear Connect and a made-to-order cable from online German company Singlecoil.com (they also make pickups and sell other accessories). The Livewire Elite is the most balanced of the, while costing the least. The Neutrik connectors are better than those used by the other two. The German cable is clear and bright, but not as resonant in the lower frequencies (very good for neck humbuckers, though). The Lava is surprisingly darker, noticeably lacking in highs compared to the other two. It has good resonance, but doesn't seem as clear due to rolled off highs. To be fair, it is 14 feet long while the others are 10, but in my experience 4 feet doesn't make that big of a difference. I use Mogami Gold short patch cords and mic cable, but don't have a similar length Mogami instrument cable for comparison. However, the construction and flexibility is very similar, others claim they sound very close, and they're certainly the best instrument cables I've used (including Monster, which IMO is overpriced). They seem like a reasonably priced, excellent alternative to Mogami Gold.

Satisfactory Guitar Cable
These cables are decent, and will definitely get the job done, but I've found that there are better options out there (Monster Cable). The lifetime warranty is a pretty good deal, but I'm assuming that you probably have to keep the receipt around, which I probably won't do. This isn't a bad purchase by any means, but I feel like the Monster Cable has a higher quality look and feel, and mine has survived a beating for the last 10 years, and is still going strong. These Livewire's just seem a bit less durable to me.

Love this product, it does exactly what I need it to do! You can tell it was made with high quality materials and will last a while. I would recommend this product if you are looking for an angled/straight instrument cable. I purchased it to be used with my guitar.

They are similar to the Mogami cables for a way cheaper price.
