Description
The Fender Vintage Reissue '65 Deluxe Reverb guitar combo amp brings the iconic Blackface sound of the 1960s into the modern era, delivering an authentic recreation of Fender's most sought-after tones. Designed and assembled in Corona, California, this 22W, all-tube amplifier features a 12" Jensen C12K speaker, two distinct channels (Normal and Vibrato), and the unmistakable shimmering highs and lush reverb that defined an era. Used by artists like Maroon 5 and Flogging Molly, the '65 Deluxe Reverb is a studio and stage favorite, offering vintage warmth and dynamic response in a compact, gig-ready format. With classic Blackface cosmetics—including the silver grille cloth and black textured vinyl covering—this amp is as visually iconic as it is sonically impressive. Experience the timeless combination of vintage tone and modern reliability in this expertly crafted reissue.
Deluxe Reverb's All-Tube Circuitry for Classic Fender Tone
The '65 Deluxe Reverb features an all-tube circuit that faithfully recreates the original's warm, responsive sound. With four 12AX7 and two 12AT7 preamp tubes, combined with a pair of 6V6 power tubes, this amp delivers rich harmonic content with natural compression. The tube rectifier, a hallmark of vintage Fender amps, adds a smooth, sagging response that enhances feel and dynamics. Whether you're dialing in pristine cleans or pushing the power tubes into natural overdrive, the all-tube design ensures every note has depth, clarity, and presence. This meticulously designed circuit captures the essence of the original Blackface amps, giving players an authentic vintage tone that stands out in any mix.
Onboard Tube-Driven Reverb and Vibrato
The '65 Deluxe Reverb is equipped with tube-driven spring reverb and vibrato, offering players a wide range of expressive effects. The reverb circuit produces a lush, ambient sound that can be adjusted from subtle shimmer to cavernous wash, making it ideal for both clean passages and soaring solos. The vibrato effect, powered by the amp's tubes, delivers warm, pulsating modulation with adjustable speed and intensity. These classic Fender effects add depth and character to your sound, making the amp perfect for crafting immersive tones. With the included two-button footswitch, players can easily toggle between effects, ensuring seamless control during live performances or studio sessions.
Jensen Speaker for Exceptional Sonic Clarity
At the heart of the '65 Deluxe Reverb's sound is its 12" Jensen C12K speaker, chosen for its ability to deliver articulate highs, balanced mids, and tight lows. This speaker is specifically voiced to complement the amp's all-tube circuitry, providing a clean, detailed response at low volumes and a robust, punchy tone when driven harder. The C12K's dynamic range makes it equally capable of handling sparkling cleans and saturated overdriven tones with ease. Whether you're recording intricate chord voicings or cutting through a dense band mix, this speaker ensures that every nuance of your playing is faithfully reproduced.
Classic Fender Blackface Design With Modern Durability
The '65 Deluxe Reverb stays true to Fender's iconic Blackface aesthetic, featuring a silver grille cloth, black textured vinyl covering, and vintage-style knobs. While the exterior captures the charm of the 1960s originals, the construction is built for modern reliability. Schumacher transformers and hand-wired tube sockets ensure durability and consistent performance, while the printed circuit board design provides robust signal integrity. This combination of vintage styling and contemporary engineering makes the amp not only a collector's dream but also a dependable workhorse for gigging musicians. Its lightweight, portable design ensures that it's easy to transport without sacrificing tonal quality or build integrity.
Perfect for Studio and Stage Performance
The Fender Vintage Reissue '65 Deluxe Reverb guitar combo amp offers everything a discerning player needs for both studio recording and live performance. Its 22W output provides enough power to cut through a band mix while remaining manageable for small venues or miked studio sessions. The onboard reverb and vibrato add texture and depth, while the Jensen speaker ensures clarity and punch at every volume. Whether you're shaping tones for a professional recording or performing on stage, this amp's vintage warmth and dynamic response will inspire and elevate your playing.

This Will Rock Rock You!!
I bought this amp used for 400 dollars at a local music store. I use a Mexican Stratocaster and play mainly classic rock and blues. This amp has woken up my mediocre guitar and give ANYBODY a run for their money. I usually play around 2-3 and this amp can reach the back of any small to medium venue, unmic'ed. The once the tubes warm up, the tone flows out of the amplifier and puddles on the ground. It has an amazing spank when the treble is up, and a dark, overtone-infested moan when you crank the bass. The reverb cannot be duplicated and can go from a shallow shimmer, to a full blown Pink Floyd-played at the end of a tunnel sound. I personally set the vibrato shallow and at medium speed to give a thrashy-simmer to my tone. I have been told by a touring guitarist at my church that my set up- Stratocater- EH BigMuff-FuzzFace-Dunlop Wah- 65'reissue is the best sound he has ever heard live. I suggest any musician buy this amp not only for it's nastolgic presence, but for it's sweet voice. Remember to buy a bucket to help carry off all the tone you'll be flooded with .

Fourth time is a charm
I am really disappointed with Fender. GC had to send me 4 different amps before one worked. I have only had number 4 for a few weeks so I dont know how long it will last. Amps one and three had reverb issues with loud hum and feedback;which resulted in number one crashing . Number two lasted 3 weeks and then the vibrato channel quit working. GC has been working patiently to resolve this issue. When the amp works it sounds great.

Less powerful and much lighter than the Twin Reverb making the Deluxe a more versatile amplifier with the clean Fender tone. Been playing guitar since the early to mid-sixties so I gravitate to this amplifier type.

In this FAQ section, I am seeing answers suggesting that this amp does come with a foot switch for the reverb/vibrato and then other answers to the same question stating that it does not come with the foot switch included… so, my obvious question would be: is the footswitch included, or no?
