Epiphone Surprise!!
I am somewhat of an "American Made" brat when it comes to buying guitars and never really found an Epiphone that felt good to play untilI I picked up this Dove. It was properly set up with very low action, no fret buzz, and a comfortable neck. I was surprised how well it played although I do find the voicing to be a bit dull compared to my Taylors or Martin. On the other hand when I plugged it in, I heard a whole new rich sound coming out and knew the Dove was a keeper. I wanted a guitar that I wouldn't worry about beating up traveling, could properly amp, and sounded good without a big price tag attached to it. I think you are getting more than the price tag indicates, but maybe I just got lucky with this one! I'd like to see Epiphone start sending guitars home with their owners minimally with a gig bag or lower the amount of the hard case that can be purchased separately. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this guitar.

Okay for the money.
Mine came with poor finishing where the fretboard meets the body. Also a crack in the finish. ( Can be seen on the body to the bottom right of the fretboard.) Poor quality check on epiphone/ gibson's part. It sounds good and plays good though.

The finish is okay until you look at it in good lighting. The binding on the fretboard has started separating at the high E string at the nut. This guitar isn't worth the price, it sounds like a shoebox with strings! Yami's spruce/maple dread it head and shoulders above this guitar for $50 less!
Best acoustic guitar I've had.

I almost bought this guitar one other time when I was in the store but I ended up with another one. I wanted to come back and get it sometime so yesterday I did. It sounds like the Epiphone Hummingbird which is $50 cheaper. I played that one at GC too. But I like the white dove.
Excellent guitar

Bought this for daughter. It was an upgrade from her starter guitar. She loves it. It sounds nice. Looks excellent, which is nice because she wants to play it more. I'm not a guitar player so I cannot say much more than that. Her guitar teacher loves it as well.

I saw it in a pop up online and it kept coming so my husband n i went to see it in person. I have nueropathy in my fingers and have issues playing guitar anymore. I was actually able to play this. My husband then bought it for me as a christmas gift last year. Also found the perfect strap while waiting. Its like it was made for it. My only issue it yhe pickup was not attatched i told the guy at desk n he said that happens sometime. Didnt offer a discount nor did he offer for us to leave it n theyd fix it. All he wanted to do was push the warranty. Why buy a warranry to get a repair done that you were paying full price for? So my pickup is just hanging loose inside the guitar. Thank goodness i am not playing in professionally.

Hello I see no electronics on the guitar but I read that it has electronics. What is it?
This has electronics. If you look into the soundhole you will see the volume and tone controls. You plug your cable in the strap button.
