The ND68 is a high-performance, large-diaphragm dynamic supercardioid kick drum and low-frequency instrument microphone. Its supercardioid polar pattern provides excellent acoustic isolation from nearby instruments, and its voicing characteristics deliver a deep low end and relaxed midrange, as well as plenty of high-frequency content for aggressive top-end punctuation. The rest is up to your engineer, but this ruggedly built, low-profile mic gives anyone who knows their EQ gear a lot to work with. great mic for kick drum, electric or acoustic bass, or any complex sound that has a lot of low end content.
