Made from the eco-friendly recycling program at Dream cymbals, the 10” Re-FX Han cymbal is a super-thick bell with a narrow flange, made from a used cymbal from Dream or another manufacturer. The shape is based on the traditional Chinese “Jing” cymbal, adapted for a modern setting. The bell is piercing, while the thin flange creates a distinctive twangy sound when crashed. The Han has the speed of a splash with the complexity of a larger cymbal. And because it’s made from recycling broken cymbals, it’s affordable for a specialty cymbal of this weight. Dream believes that making great cymbals and protecting the environment can go hand-in-hand, and there is no better proof than the Re-FX series.
