These high-end, high-resolution headphones are designed to reproduce even the most subtle nuances of the source sound with unparalleled accuracy. In addition to mixing and recording in the studio, the HPH-MT7 headphones are ideal for mix monitoring in live performance thanks to their high sound pressure levels and durability.

High-Resolution Sound Reproduction

The HPH-MT7 headphones are engineered to deliver flat, high-resolution sound with precise stereo imaging at any volume level. Yamaha has applied decades of experience developing professional audio equipment to design acoustic components that faithfully reproduce the source signal.

Custom 40 mm Drivers

Featuring custom 40 mm drivers with CCAW voice coils and powerful neodymium magnets, the HPH-MT7 headphones achieve accurate definition and control across an expansive 15 Hz to 25 kHz frequency range. Made of aluminum wire coated in highly conductive copper, the lightweight yet robust drivers deliver ultra-high resolution sound that meets the demands of modern professional monitoring.

Components Eliminate Extraneous Resonance

From the arms to the earcups, all acoustic components in the HPH-MT7 headphones have been designed to produce the most accurate sound possible by completely eliminating excess resonance.

Comfort and Durability for Professional Use

With a sleek yet durable design, the HPH-MT7 headphones provide superb comfort for extended listening and are built to withstand the rigors of professional use. Featuring a closed-back, circumaural configuration, smooth synthetic leather ear pads, and a pivot construction with an adjustable slider, the HPH-MT7 headphones prevent fatigue, allow single-ear monitoring, and block outside noise for critical listening. A 10' detachable cable and carrying case provide added convenience for recording, mixing and monitoring on the move.

Thes headphones are great for mixing vocals.I got use to them fast, because they literally mimic my Yamaha hs 5's! I can where them for hours mixing different songs or just on YouTube looking at (xrp/cryptocurrency news lol) videos!I'm glad I bought them and recommend anyone who already have or want Yamaha speakers to go ahead in see what I mean bout them being a good reference to studio monitors.

Would these be a good option to use for recording vocals? My first pair of headphones were old Dre Beats and one side went out. They sounded really good. Honestly I've never tried anything else! Maybe these could be a step up?

They're great headphones. They're going to sound different than you previous HPs. The Dr Dre are prone toward the lows, more than these.

I wear hearing aid and play congas in a band but I have trouble hearing the lead singer voice what do yo suggest that I can use ( headphones) to better hear our music so i don't miss a beat even if I have to get a battery attachment to plug to mixer while on stage or band practicing. Thanks mr mota

I'm not doing much recording in my home studio yet. But would these make a good choice when I don't want to practice with keyboard amp? I know the sound is different in monitors.
