Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder

Description
The Schecter Guitar Research Sun Valley Super Shredder Floyd Rose electric guitar is a high-performance axe that combines premium components and construction with a versatile design, allowing shredders of all skill levels to push their playing to new heights. The Sun Valley Super Shredder is as stylish as it is sonically savage.
Lightning-Fast Floyd Rose Bridge
The Sun Valley Super Shredder features a genuine Floyd Rose Special 'Hot Rod' Locking Tremolo (a Schecter exclusive ) bridge, allowing for precise tuning and divebomb effects. Shredders can perform radical pitch shifts and return to pitch with laser-sharp accuracy. Combined with Schecter SuperRock pickups, the Floyd Rose bridge provides tight low-end, articulate mids and searing highs that cut through any mix.
Ultra-Fast 3-Piece Maple Neck
The Sun Valley Super Shredder's 3-piece Canadian rock maple neck offers supreme speed, stability and playability. Its thin C profile and flat 16" radius provide a familiar feel for shredders and allow for intricate solos at breakneck tempos. The 24 X-jumbo frets offer ample space for wide bends and two-handed tapping techniques. A Floyd Rose Special graphite nut and neck joint increase sustain and resonance for notes that sing.
Schecter USA SuperRock Pickups
This electric guitar is equipped with a pair of humbucking pickups that provide tight, well-balanced tone with excellent clarity. The EMG Retro Active Hot 70 bridge pickup delivers a hot, aggressive tone suited to metal and hard rock, while the Sustainiac neck pickup produces a warmer, throatier tone for bluesy solos. A 3-way toggle switch selects pickups individually or in combination.
Premium Components and Construction
From the graphite-reinforced neck joint to the die-cast tuners, the Sun Valley Super Shredder features premium components designed for performance. A contoured mahogany body provides exceptional resonance and comfort. 24 X-jumbo frets on a maple fretboard allow for wide bends and two-handed tapping. Grover tuners keep the Sun Valley Super Shredder in tune through the most extreme shred sessions.

This is my 6th electric guitar and man does it feel great. All 24 frets are easily accessible. Better than my PRS Cust.24. BUT Schecter seems to have quality issues. Mine is being replaced because the switch was not working properly. Hopefully the second one will be worth the wait

The PRO'S: guitar sounds and feels great...outstanding neck and the sustainiac is a lot of fun with amazing sounds. CON'S, The Floyd Rose Special bridge is awful..total junk...the saddles kept slipping, strings wouldn't stay in tune and it was popping strings constantly. Since I loved the guitar I upgraded the FR to an FU-TONE tremolo and that was the change this guitar needed. It wasn't reliable with the FR Special because it would pop strings almost daily. The FU-Tone tremolo took this guitar to another level. NOW, I cant put the guitar down and its my main guitar now. Thinking about ordering another one but I know for a fact ill immediately upgrade the Trem.
I would buy this awesome guitar

This is a really cool guitar. I really like super strats and I love messing around on the Sustainiac. The neck feels really nice to move around on, and I love love love the sound of the pickups. I really only had a couple issue with it. The frets and the finish. The finish was actually really well done, but it was kinda boring to look at. I know these guitars are inspired by exotic automobiles, but it's kinda weird for me to have a guitar that's not sparkly, transparent, or has some kind of top wood. It's purely a personal thing for me, but I wasn't crazy about the plain white paint. As for the frets, I was a little surprised to find that this had nickel frets on it. I know it helps keep the cost down, but it really made my experience suffer. The fret size was a little big for me as well, felt really strange to press down on. The fret ends though we're perfect. Other than those two things, great guitar. If I were to buy it again, I'd probably go for the Lambo Orange finish, though.
Absolutely amazing. Perfect for sustain.
