Guild

collapse expand iconDescription

With their large, rounded bodies, Guild jumbo acoustic guitars have been prized for their volume, projection and balance ever since the Guild F-50 model debuted in 1954. The Guild F-150CE upholds this tradition with its solid Sitka spruce top, solid rosewood back and sides, elegant cutaway and powerful Guild-Fishman AP1 with Sonicore pickup. Additional features include a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, and mother-of-pearl rosette. This model also has a 1 3/4" nut width on a vintage-shaped Guild neck, iconic Chesterfield headstock emblem reminiscent of 1960s Guilds, period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard and a Natural gloss finish. It comes with Guild’s Premium Gig Bag.

I have owned several High end Gibsons, Martins, Taylor's, etc. and this is right on par if not better. I previously owned an SJ200 and this guitar is as good or better for 1/5 the cost, unbelievable! I am so stoked on the quality of Guild over other manufactures right now; the quality is great, the tone is fantastic and really cannot recommend this guitar enough.

  • Would buy again. Sounds very balanced.

if I order this guitar and have it shipped to my local store in Columbus Ohio, do you check the guitar out when it arrives and make sure the set-up is good and no issues with neck etc.? Is there any kind of guarantee if I find it is not as advertised/expected?

If a guitar is "open-box" or "blemished" is it still considered new, and so eligible for 15 percent discount if I trade for it?
