  • GREAT GUITAR

I bought this guitar used, condition excellent. it arrived quickly and is beautiful. initially the action was very, very high and difficult to play but a few trys at adjusting the neck tilt solved that, this guitar plays great. I tried it through amps and a few PA systems before realizing(getting it through my thick head) that this was both an electric and an acoustic guitar. you wouldn't play your acoustic through an electric guitar amp or your electric through a clean pa, right. that is what every negative reviewer on YouTube did(idiots).I am now using a boss me80 pedal board with it and put a little reverb and a slight chorus on the acoustic setting and have pre set many electric sounds. this guitar will scream, sing, get dirty or clean up real nice. the acoustic setting is beautiful. people need to remember that once you plug something in you can get whatever sound you want out of it. the un amplified sound is cool, it's not an expensive Martin(until you plug it in and shape your tone) but I am used to slim bodied acoustic/electrics and this plays at a nice volume for un amplified singing. I use a Bose portable pa, fender player acoustasonic jazz master, boss me80 pedalboard, beat buddy drum machine and a boss vocal harmonizer. very portable system and great sounds. I highly recommend this guitar to anyone who needs more than one guitar on a gig. ps. I have not tried electric strings on this so I can't say it will be replacing your electric for fast shredding.

I liked the idea of having versatility in one guitar. This one is like having three guitars in one. The sunburst version looks different than the picture. It is actually satin and subdued giving the guitar an Earthy organic look. The finish is thin, giving an intimate feel of the wood. It kind of looks like a classical stringed instrument. The sound is more like an acoustic electric in characteristics. The electric selection does have a Tele like voice but not as bright and treble. The guitar sounds best through a PA or Acoustic amp so far. Probably because this allows the dynamics to come through. The negative thing is the high E string is a little weaker than the other strings as often is typical of Acoustic electric guitars. I put 10 gauge acoustic strings on and perhaps the High E would be stronger going back to a heavier gauge. Will try 11s next. Think it comes with 12s. I play a one man band set up with a looper/drum machine. laying the rhythm then playing lead with one guitar using two voices is the reason I got one of these. Overall I am happy with it.

  • Amazing guitar.

Very versatile. Couldn't tell it was an open box not a mark on it. Sounds amazing plugged in. Beyond my expectations.

Is the "ice blue" color teal-ish or is it more like sky blue? It looks like pale teal in your picture, but I see pics on other sites that look different.

I’m sorry, I don’t know. I don't have one to check. It all depends on how the page page displays the photograph..
