Squier Classic Vibe '70s Jaguar Electric Guitar Surf Green

Description
The Squier Classic Vibe '70s Jaguar turns up the volume on throwback style and sound. It produces a vibrant tone through its dual Fender-designed alnico single-coil pickups. Guitarists with smaller hands will appreciate the 24" scale length and slim, comfortable C-shaped neck with an easy-playing 9.5" radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets. This Jaguar pays homage to the original with a vintage-style tremolo system for expressive string bending effects and a floating bridge with barrel saddles for solid intonation. This retro Squier model also features 1970s-inspired headstock markings, nickel-plated hardware, and a slick vintage-tinted gloss neck finish for an old-school vibe.
Innovative Circuitry Provides Unparalleled Control
At the heart of the Squier Classic Vibe '70s Jaguar's tone are its dual Fender-designed alnico single-coil pickups, but it's the guitar's innovative circuitry that provides unprecedented control. A circuit selector switch activates either the lead or rhythm circuit. The lead circuit controls bridge and neck pickup volume as well as master tone. The rhythm circuit activates only the neck pickup with dedicated volume and tone knobs for shaping its mellower sound. On/off switches for each pickup allow for further tonal variations in either circuit. These sophisticated electronics allow guitarists to achieve a wide range of vintage and modern Jaguar tones.
Vintage-Style Bridge and Tremolo Add Expression
The Squier Classic Vibe '70s Jaguar aims to capture the playability and tone of the original Jaguar. It features a vintage-style tremolo system and floating bridge with barrel saddles, which allow for expressive string bending effects and solid intonation. The tremolo arm can be used for subtle pitch variations or more extreme warbling sounds. The bridge's individual saddles make it easy to adjust each string's height and intonation for optimal playability up and down the fretboard.
Other Features Capture the Jaguar Essence
Several other features contribute to the Squier Classic Vibe '70s Jaguar's authentic vibe and tone. A poplar body and maple neck provide a resonant and articulate tone. The C-shaped neck profile and 9.5" radius fingerboard allow for comfortable chording and soloing. Narrow-tall frets make it easy to bend strings and achieve a vintage-style action. Block inlays provide an retro esthetic, while the four-ply tortoiseshell pickguard protects the guitar's electronics.

Get this guitar and don't think twice
I've been a fan of Squier for a while and when I heard about the release of this line, I had to check it out. The quality is through the roof for the price point. The body finish, chrome plating, neck binding, block inlays... all of it is beautiful and exceptionally well put-together. Overall light but solid feeling in your hands, the neck is comfortably short and accessible. The circuit design has incredible range tone-wise and this one does not disappoint; the pickups are bright and clean but with a solid low end punch. Pros: INCREDIBLE QUALITY FOR THE MONEY Pristine finish all over. The neck stain is a gorgeous vintage "aged" look, flawless. Well balanced body and very comfy weight Perfect vintage Fender tone for a fraction of the cost of an original Jag Cons: Wish there were more colorways The tremolo bar drops in rather than screws in My guitar's low E saddle is very loose (seems to be a common issue in this first run) TL;DR - if you are thinking about picking one up, JUST DO IT, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

Terrible quality control
I had high hopes for this guitar after seeing so much hype for it. When I got it, the action was over 1/2" high at the 12th fret and any attempt to lower it made it buzz like crazy at the lower frets. So, I opened it up to install a shim and hopefully fix the neck angle enough to make it at least playable. Inside I found the neck had 9 holes in it, making it fit sloppy in the pocket. I emailed Fender right away and they told me it wasn't ok and to take it to an authorized repair shop that they gave me the address for. I did take it there and waited 2 months just to be told that Fender doesn't think this is a problem and won't do anything to fix it. Take this as a warning that the quality control is garbage and Fender won't stand behind their products.

Bought one brand new, the stock bridge is absolute garbage so be ready to spend an extra 100 just replacing that alone, other than that it plays really well. My biggest advice is to be ready to fix this guitar because you'll definitely run into lots of problems.
Glad to finally get this in sunburst

Received with neck cracked in half, headstock poking out of the box. Too bad, I hear these are nice when they're not in pieces. No protective wrapping to speak of aside from a few strips of paper. just box in a box, no bubble wrap or anything.
Amazing gutiar

Producted arrived slighty damaged with buzzing, brought to guitar center and they fixed it up for free. Amazing guitar, great tone, feel and more.

The guitar looks amazing. The bridge keeps sinking down after I keep adjusting it. I get about 15 minutes of play before the bridge is too low and I have to pull out the hex key again. I really love the guitar but it's very frustrating. It does sound amazing for the time functional.
