Peavey

collapse expand iconDescription

Peavey Electronics' PV series mixing consoles, like this PV 6 BT mixer with Bluetooth, are equipped with Peavey's reference-quality mic preamps that spec in at an incredible 0.0007% THD, making them an excellent choice for live or recording applications.

The PV 6 BT mixer includes up to eight channels of reference-quality mic preamps, up to eight direct outputs for recording, stereo channels, media channel with Bluetooth wireless input, high-quality digital effects, streaming USB out and MP3 playback via USB A input. Other features include 48-volt phantom power, dual selectable control room outputs, four channels of compression, an onboard selectable guitar preamp, 3-band EQ per channel with bypass, channel mute buttons, AUX send, signal clip indicators and a stereo master LED meter bridge.

Features such as Bluetooth allow seamless connection to almost any smart device. Multiple direct outs per channel allow easy connection to most DAW interfaces for recording. In addition, the PV mixers can stream audio directly to a PC. MP3 playback is also available via USB A port and LCD display. All PV Series mixers also feature a tablet cradle to hold a smart device for convenient display and easy operation.

The PV 6 BT has a Listen feature which allows you to listen to individual channels via headphone or control room outputs, and the EQ bypass allows the user to compare the EQ'd signal to the original signal with the push of a button. Multiple channels of compression keep signals with difficult levels under control, and Peavey's exclusive guitar-shape adjusts the EQ and preamp specifically for guitar. Hi-pass filters on every channel remove unwanted rumble and noise, and balanced AUX and Master outputs ensure a clean noise free signal to your powered speakers or power amplifier.

I have been working with sound equipment for over 35 years. From peavey to Yamaha to sound craft and many other manufacturers. I did a radio program and didn't want to hook up the bigger mixer I had and the church had a small peavey similar to this one. Looked cheap to me and my expectations were low. So what the heck I gave it a try and to my amazement what a wonderful sound, even without external eq. The radio station manager told me my program sound was one of the best he had. I knew it was good but I was really impressed. I am now doing another radio show and I pulled out a small Behringer mixer I had acquired somewhere. I cant get that sound I had with the peavey. 3 band eq and it is just not the same. I went on line and bought a Peavey PV6 BT. A decent mike and you can do wonders with this little thing...

Exactly what I needed. Paired this with JBL EON 615's. Plenty of inputs for my events. Typically two mica and and laptop. Bluetooth worked flawlessly.

Purely from a vocalist's point of view. Performs adequately for the money. Effects are fair. If you're a vocalist, and use effects, seek out other options.

After installing my devices to my PC board, I am receiving my sound with my bluetooth connection. By the way I have had this for 4 years, no problems.
But now, when my devices showing it's connected, there's no sound through my speakers. I bought the speakers same time as my PV board. Why no sound.
