Rate of Change of Frequency

What is the rate of change of frequency?

The rate of change of frequency is HZ per second. In a UPS, slowing occurs when the frequency of the internal inverter within the UPS is automatically adjusted so as to bring the inverter and the input utility power into synchronization. Such synchronization is desired so that there will be no phase error between the inverter and the AC utility power in case of any transfer between these sources.
