It comes loaded with 30 preset kits, including five kits from ddrum's own line, giving you a variety of acoustic, electronic and hybrid sounds to start. The two trigger inputs and two footswitch inputs transform the NIO into a fully functioning electronic drum kit for practice or performance.

Store and Load Your Own Sounds

The NIO provides 512MB of internal storage for you to load your own drum kits, loops or single sounds through the USB output. Whether you want to load kicks and snares you've crafted yourself or full drum kits to use live, the NIO puts that control in your hands. Once loaded, you can easily scroll through and select your custom sounds using the front panel controls.

Dynamic, Expressive Pads

The nine rubber pads give you a responsive playing surface to tap, strike and press. Their isolation from each other prevents crosstalk so each pad triggers the sound you intend. Despite its powerful features, the NIO is designed to be immediately accessible. Two dials control volume and kit/sound selection, with a digital screen displaying your options. Adjacent buttons allow you to toggle through choices and make selections. A metronome helps you keep time and the Record button lets you capture your playing to build your own custom kits.
