Williams Allegro IV Digital Piano | Demo and Overview with Lynette Williams

Williams

collapse expand iconDescription

The Williams Allegro IV includes a truly magnificent concert grand piano designed to amaze and inspire classical and jazz pianists, as well as demanding rock, blues, country and pop players. However, the Allegro IV speaks with much more than one voice. There are 11 more sounds to explore, including two vintage electric pianos, two organs, strings, acoustic and electric bass, vibraphone and choir. The Allegro IV has an 88-key, hammer-weighted keyboard that provides the authentic feel of an actual acoustic grand, making it easy for players to transition from home practice and songwriting sessions to performing live and in the studio on a real piano. The realism continues with graded keys that provide a heavier response at the bottom of the keyboard—just like a real acoustic grand piano. An enhanced, upgraded speaker system ensures you hear every nuance of the sounds and music you’re playing, and Bluetooth audio and MIDI connectivity expands your creative options. In addition, the free Williams Piano app for iOS lets players further personalize their experience with play-along features, customization of the Allegro IV instrument sounds and effects, and more.

Williams Allegro IV Speaker System

Ported Speakers With Resonant Sound

Uninspiring audio can put a serious dent in your enthusiasm for playing. But there’s no chance of sonic doldrums with the Allegro IV. A completely redesigned and upgraded audio system delivers an immersive experience with rich lows, articulate mids and shimmering highs. The expansive soundstage is made possible via stereo speakers with two drivers each to produce a frequency spectrum with clarity and dimension. Furthermore, the speakers are mounted inside resonant cavities within the Allegro IV’s frame that are ported—just like professional studio monitors and PA cabinets—to ensure a taut low end with no mud or boominess, as well as increased volume. Factor in a powerful, built-in amplifier and DSP tuning, and the Allegro IV undeniably puts out sound you can feel.

Williams Allegro IV 12 Instrument Sounds

12 Onboard Sounds

The showstopper of the Allegro IV is its gorgeous Italian concert grand piano. Recorded in a professional studio at several different dynamic levels, this celebrated piano sound is as authentic as it gets—and even more so, because the Allegro IV’s hammer-weighted, graded keyboard translates every nuance of your playing from pianissimo to fortissimo. However, the Allegro IV isn’t simply a solo performer with one great sound—it includes 11 more scrupulously crafted voices that cover almost every style of music for your performance, recording and songwriting needs. There are two organs (rock and perc), two vintage electric pianos (tine and reed), two basses (electric and acoustic), vibraphone, string pad, synth pad, choir and a bright acoustic piano. Adventurous players can exercise their inner sound designer by splitting or layering sounds on the keyboard for massive sonic textures, as well as processing basic patches with built-in effects, such as 2-band EQ, reverb, chorus and rotary speaker. In addition, there are 10 demo songs that spotlight Allegro IV keyboard voices for analysis and inspiration, as well as an onboard metronome for getting your tempos as tight as the window seals on the International Space Station.

Williams Allegro IV Bluetooth Audio and MIDI

Bluetooth Audio, MIDI and USB

The Allegro IV digital piano seamlessly links to computers, DAWs and tablets via Bluetooth, USB, MIDI, an AUX input and mono/stereo audio outputs. Pair your phone using Bluetooth and play along with songs, YouTube lessons and other educational media through the Allegro IV’s speakers. You can also access teaching apps, such as the Williams Piano app and the included trial period of Skoove Platinum piano lessons. Make tracks by using your favorite recording software over USB with the Allegro IV’s built-in audio/MIDI interface. Jam with friends and/or dive into group songwriting sessions by plugging into a keyboard amp or PA system. As you can see, the Allegro IV isn’t just a home practice keyboard.

Williams Allegro IV App Control

Williams iOS App

Unleash your creativity with the free Williams Piano app for iOS. Use your iPad or iPhone to dig deeper into customization for the sounds and effects, select from four keyboard modes (single, split, layer and split+layer), call up a drum machine, tune the piano, play along with the music library on your iOS device and more.

Williams Allegro IV Optional Add Ons

Awesome Accessories

The Allegro IV digital piano provides a sustain pedal, power supply and a handy music rest for your books, charts and/or iOS device. However, you can really “go grand” with two optional accessories that are sold separately. First, there’s a beautiful wooden piano stand finished in black woodgrain that summons enough sophistication to class up any living room, music studio, church stage or club. Then, you can elevate your performance subtleties by adding a William three-pedal controller to add sustain, soft and sostenuto to your playing. (The WP3S attaches to the optional Williams wooden stand, and the standalone WP3A is a great add-on if you’re using your own keyboard stand.) The Allegro IV digital piano is a powerful performance and educational tool that’s not only a great creative partner for the home, but it also has the features to get you out of the house and making music.
