Opt for the NOS 75 setting that emulates the 3-transistor Professional MKII fuzz for smooth, warm vintage tone. Or go for the modern silicon 3-transistor circuit for a more refined fuzz sustain.

Germanium Transistors Tested for Consistent Vintage Fuzz

The first two circuits use NOS germanium transistors, carefully hand-tested to precisely reproduce those vintage fuzz sounds. The NOS 76 setting uses an OC76 and SFT337 transistor pairing, while the NOS 75 setting uses three OC75 transistors, just like the originals.
