Analog circuitry also means that no two Polychromes will sound exactly alike, adding a touch of uniqueness to your tone. The Polychrome Pedal can produce anything from subtle flange to extreme jet engine and spaceship sounds.

Intuitive Controls Allow You to Easily Dial in a Variety of Flange Sounds

The Polychrome Pedal features intuitive controls that make it easy to craft your perfect flange tone. The Depth control adjusts the intensity of the flange effect. The Rate control sets the speed of the flange sweep. The Feedback control determines how prominent the flange effect is in the feedback loop. Adjusting these three controls gives you a wealth of flange tones to explore.

Additional Features Add Tonal Complexity

The Polychrome includes additional features that provide more tonal options. The Shape Switch selects between sine, triangle and random LFO waves to modulate the delay line. The Voice Switch chooses between a full, traditional flange and a more complex flange with less low end. These features, combined with the primary controls, give you a vast range of flange tones to work with.

Blend Control Provides Balance Between Dry and Effected Signal

The Polychrome features a blend control that lets you adjust the balance between your dry guitar signal and the flange effect. At minimum, you'll hear mostly your dry tone. At noon, the dry and flange signals are balanced. At maximum, you'll hear mostly the flange effect. The blend control gives you flexibility in how prominent you want the flange to be in your overall tone.
