Taylor Guitars 50th Anniversary & Circa 74 Amplifier | New from NAMM 2024
Description
The Taylor 814ce Builder's Edition 50th Anniversary limited-edition Grand Auditorium acoustic guitar combines two phenomenal tonewoods—Indian rosewood and sinker redwood—to deliver a kaleidoscopic range of tones. This special 50th anniversary model pairs the warm, rich lows of Indian rosewood with the cedar-like warmth and excellent projection of sinker redwood. Together, they produce remarkable tonal complexity that's enhanced by Taylor's advanced V-Class bracing. Visually striking touches like the abalone rosette, gold tuners and Kona burst edge over rosewood celebrate Taylor's five decades of guitar innovation.

Ergonomic Contours and Bevels for Playing Comfort
In addition to its visual elegance, the limited-edition 814ce Builder's Edition 50th Anniversary features carefully considered ergonomic contours for comfort. The beveled armrest, scooped cutaway and slimmer body thickness improve access to the highest frets. The contoured Curve Wing bridge and rounded body edges maximize playing ease. In whatever style of genre you play, this thoughtfully designed guitar feels fantastic in your hands.

Innovative V-Class Bracing for Balanced Tone
Taylor's groundbreaking V-Class bracing architecture turbocharges this limited-edition 814ce's voice with greater sustain, volume and harmonic complexity compared to traditional bracing. Carefully tuned for each body shape, V-Class bracing optimizes the guitar's natural resonance as you play. Notes ring out with beautiful balance across the tonal spectrum. Both heavy strumming and delicate fingerpicking are rewarded with clear, layered overtones.

Onboard ES2 Electronics for Amplified Playing
Plug in the 814ce Builder's Edition limited-edition acoustic-electric guitar and unlock its amplified potential thanks to the ES2 pickup system. Featuring three discreet sensors to capture the guitar's true acoustic tone, ES2 accurately reproduces both the highs and lows with clarity. The integrated tone controls let you shape your amplified sound, from accentuating shimmering trebles to boosting robust low end. Whether on stage or in the studio, ES2 electronics empower beautiful, amplified tones.

Fifty Years of Taylor Innovation
From Bob Taylor's revolutionary neck joint that started it all to being at the forefront of environmentally responsible luthiery, Taylor has been an industry leader and trendsetter since day one. For Taylor Guitars' monumental 50th anniversary, the limited-run 814ce Builder's Edition celebrates five decades of innovation. Ive been looking for quite a few months. Played many guitars and been to guitar center 3 or 5 times to look at new arrivals or used gear. Yesterday I walked in and the 814CE was already in a stand on the ground so someone had been playing it. An hour and a half later I was still playing it. It connected with me. The tone and playability was off the charts and it was the best guitar at GC regardless of price. I know because I tried them all. Fabulous guitar, Taylor hit a HOME RUN with this one.
I will buy all my instruments from them from now own. Thanks
