TAMA's Starphonic Maple Snare Drum is a limited-edition design featuring a beautiful maple outer ply with a 5" depth. The combination of Maple's open, resonant sound with the grooved hoop and super sensitive Hi-Carbon snare wires give this drum a unique sound reminiscent of prized vintage snares. A shallower 5" depth delivers a crisper, richer and brighter tone with rich mid-high frequencies in its overtone. Ten lugs make it easier to tune, and generate attack and focused sound.
