The Suhr Jack Rabbit Black Edition Tremolo pedal delivers a wide range of analog tremolo tones with simple controls that help you dial in your perfect modulation. Designed for guitarists seeking vintage-inspired tremolo sounds, the Jack Rabbit spans a modulation range from 1Hz to 20Hz and utilizes a tempo subdivision switch for quarter notes, eighth notes and quarter note triplets. Housed in an aluminum enclosure built to handle the abuses of touring, the Jack Rabbit can also be controlled remotely via its FX Link jack.

Simple Controls Shape Your Tremolo Tone

You'll appreciate the Jack Rabbit's intuitive control layout, including dedicated knobs for rate, level, waveform and depth. The rate knob spans a broad range of speeds from a subtle 1Hz pulse to a rapid 20Hz throb. Set your output level with the level knob, then select your waveform—choose from sine, square, triangle, reverse ramp or ramp. The depth knob controls how intensely the tremolo effect modulates your tone. With this combination of controls, you can achieve any tremolo sound from a gentle undulation to an intense chopping effect.

Tap or Strum to Set Your Tempo

In addition to using the rate knob, you can set the Jack Rabbit's tempo by using its built-in tap tempo or strum tempo modes. Press and hold the footswitch for about a second to activate tap tempo, then tap the footswitch at your desired speed. For strum tempo, simply play your guitar at the tempo you want—the Jack Rabbit will detect it and sync the modulation rate. A tempo subdivision switch also provides quarter note, eighth note and quarter note triplet options to match the rhythmic feel you need.

Updated Software Provides Enhanced Functionality

The Jack Rabbit contains updated software that improves the functionality of its 1/8" stereo FX Link jack. The FX Link jack allows the pedal to be controlled by an external switch or effects switching system with TRS control output jacks. It also provides the ability to power up the Jack Rabbit in either on or off mode. This updated software results in enhanced remote control and battery monitoring capabilities via the FX Link jack.

Reliable Analog Circuitry with Convenient Features

The Jack Rabbit's analog circuitry is true bypass for transparent tone when the effect is off. Its relay-based true bypass also minimizes popping when switching the pedal on and off. A unique battery monitor circuit alerts you to low battery conditions and will automatically switch the pedal to true bypass if the battery voltage gets too low. For a versatile, gig-ready tremolo pedal with a classic vibe, plug into the Suhr Jack Rabbit Black Edition.
