Great Strat style guitar

I was considering getting a fender Strat style guitar. That's when I started playing the Cutlass. I found that it played better than the fender. It sounded just as good and the price was half as much. The action, tone and playability far exceed the price tag. The locking tunes are excellent and the roster neck play and look great.

Sounds good, looks good and feels very well made. The tuning pegs were a bit loose, G string locker wasn't tight so the string slipped out while tuning. Replaced fresh set of regular slinky, tuned up and adjusted the pickups. Some rough finish on neck, frets and body, not terrible.
Fender Convert

This was a gamble for me…and every once in a while you get a jack pot. With guitar prices going nuts post pandemic, the bang for your buck here is even more evident. Sorry Fender…I'm out. Roasted maple contoured neck, locking tuners…*chef's kiss. I'm a convert.
