This is the most customizable and stable stand on the market. It is Solid as rock and I really can't think of anything I would change about it. Some people might complain that it has to big of a footprint. It is about 33" deep so if you have a small studio and plan on putting it parallel with the wall behind it, it may stick out to far. My studio space is tiny at 10'x 10' but I have it in the corner and it fits perfectly. I will say that I have it set pretty narrow because it's holding a moog voyager and a Sequential Prophet 6. If I had to make it wider it would stick out of the corner a bit more. I had a tough time finding a stand that would fit a Voyager because of the depth of the synth. Since the depth of the arms is fully customizable it was no problem at all, it actually can accommodate something much deeper. Initial setup does take some time but once you have it set you won't have to recalibrate ever again. I haven't had this stand for very long but I'll update if I ever have a single gripe. I was gonna get the 2 tier version but I decided to go with the 3 for the bit of extra cost. I plan on using the top tier as a shelf. This thing is fairly expensive but you'll understand why as soon as you lay eyes on it!

Stand = great. Bag = sucks
I like the stand a lot. The zipper broke literally the first time I went to close the bag. For the price, and for the substantial stand this is - there MUST be a better more hearty solution. The stand itself is awesome.

I will be using this stand in my home studio, also will be adding more tiers to mount 4 possibly 5 keys/controllers . The Standastic allow for tweaking both the height and the tilt for each tier ! wonderful The only thing I cant say negative about it that it doesn't fit my Mini Cooper S which is OK cause it will only be used in the studio !
Used to stack combo amps with top mounted controls.

I have had this stand since Roland made D70s. Extra arm sets are available. I added two sets for shelves. The stand can be set wide or narrow. The arms work wherever you place them. The ends of the arms extend but I have not needed that feature. They have 90° "hooks" on the ends so your keyboards will not slide forward and possibly fall off. With extra shelves it's nice having your computer screen, etc., right in front of you at eye level. With a power strip and a couple of lights clamped to the shelves you could work in a dark corner if you had to.

Does anyone have some basic dimensions for this stand? In particular the footprint size? How much floor space do I need?
