I bought a sonic tele and it was set very well. I had to adjust the intonation just a little. Plays great. Then I saw the strat on sale plus I had a gift card so I bought this also. The frets were not sharp on either neck. Some reviews say the frets need polishing but I found them to be smooth. The strat was set up perfect. A little fret but on the low e but when it warmed up to room temperature it was fine. Action nice on both guitars. Finish was flawless. I have an American tele and strat. Only difference is the American pick ups have a somewhat warmer soundbut not that noticeable. Don't be afraid to give the sonic series a try and save yourself big money. A few years ago a budget guitar was about what you would expect. Now you will be pleasantly pleased.

All frets were sharp and rough. Much better quality control is needed. Not just fret sprout but jagged ends also. Nice color though.

I used to play quite a bit as a teenager in the fabulous early 60s. Our band, the Chanteurs, were the first to be on WAVE tv's TEEN BEAT. Each year at the Fairgrounds, Carl Casper's Rod and Custom had band battle. We won the first year and afterwards we voted for who would win in future band battles. I still play at 78 years old and still love to crank up the distortion!
I love this guitar

I've had this guitar for about a month now and I love it. It feels solid and the electronics sound pretty good for the price you're paying. I do have some complaints though, my main one is that the intonation isn't the best going up the fretboard so I've had to adjust that a bit. Another complaint I have is that the single coils produce a lot of humming from my amp so keep that in mind. But other than those 2 complaints this is a really solid guitar for beginners, I'd recommend it.
I absolutely would buy again, cheap and so much potential wi

I use it as my gig guitar and have a couple of mods just for general playability but for the the price it's a great beginner guitar and wouldn't be bad for a more experienced player
I am very pleased with my purchase

I was looking for a particular type of Squire tele when I saw this strat. How could I go wrong it's a limited edition color and it has a maple neck. That is what I love about teles they are often more available with maple necks than strats. I really love the color too photos do not do this guitar justice plays nice and sounds good. The neck needed a little adjustment when I picked it up. After having it a bit I have noticed that the fret ends need attention. So I am going to see what can be done about that. Over all I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Like everyone else says the color of the guitar when you are looking at it is nothing like the picture in a very good way it's hard to describe. The finish on the neck doesn't feel like there is any or look like there is any either very happy with my purchase.
This guitar is a great starter purchase!

I just decided to start taking guitar lessons on a whim and wanted an electric guitar to play/practice on. I really like the feel of it overall and I really like the color too. The ends of the frets were a little rough but I don't actually feel them while playing so that's been virtually a non-issue. #sweepstakes

Weight?
All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. I'm sorry but I don't have one to weigh. This will be approximately 7.5 – 8.0 lbs.submitted10 months ago
