Pretty Good

I play guitar, so I bought this expression pedal to use with my Boss PS-5. It is made of plastic so it is wise not to step on it too hard. One thing I didn't like about it is that when you press down on the pedal, it doesn't start to alter your sound until it is about halfway pressed, which gets a little frustrating. But other than that, this is a very good expression pedal.

They Wear Out

I have had 2 of these with my Roland VK77, and they reach a point where you get massive jumps in volume due to the potentiometer wearing out.Hey Roland ever hear of Bournes or Allen Bradley? They make quality Pots. I think $60 for about 2 years of use is outrageous, but because I own a Roland organ I must use this.....

    I have always relied on Roland for my music gear. I just thought I'd add this to my collection just in case my old one plays up. This is very well built, is solid, does not move easily and feels good under your feet. I only took it out to test it and so far there are no issues. Response is always there.

    I bought this EV-5 as a spare expression pedal for my Roland GP-100. It does not work. My other EV-5 works just fine. I had to return it.
