    I used anywhere from no to heaps of muffling ( a doona and/or a pillow) and couldnt get a sound that didnt sound terrible. Put my beaten up old emad on it sounded heaps better straight up....

    i have this head on a lot of gigs and man its still here. there are some cons, you need to put a pollow in the bass drum to get the ring out or these head sucks. the head Im going to get again
