Description
The RME HDSPe AoX-D DANTE PCI express card gives you high-performance audio interfacing in a single-slot solution. With its PCIe x4 interface, the HDSPe AoX-D card transmits and receives up to 128 channels of network audio signals on two separate Gigabit Ethernet ports that connect via Dante. It leverages RME's renowned driver architecture to provide an expansive 256-channel routing matrix in any DAW.
Massive Channel Count in a Compact Card
Despite its compact size, the HDSPe AoX-D card handles an enormous channel count. Its two Gigabit Ethernet ports can transmit and receive up to 128 channels of audio over Dante, letting you easily integrate signals from microphones, instruments and other network devices. An onboard 256-channel TotalMix engine gives you flexible routing and mixing options. You can select which of the 256 channels to pass to your DAW for recording and which to send to the card's outputs.
Versatile Connectivity and Monitoring
While the HDSPe AoX-D card focuses on network audio connectivity, it provides additional I/O for comprehensive interfacing. A 1⁄4" stereo headphone jack lets you monitor signals from your computer, the network or the card's optional MADI inputs. It also features AES3 digital I/O and MIDI via a breakout cable. Two optional MADI extension cards provide up to four MADI inputs and four MADI outputs, allowing you to integrate MADI gear or expand your channel count. With its flexible routing options, the HDSPe AoX-D card is a full-fledged professional interface for any studio.
High-Performance Architecture
The HDSPe AoX-D card leverages RME's FPGA-based hardware and optimized driver architecture to provide exceptionally low latency and high stability. Its PCIe x4 interface offers maximum bandwidth for high channel counts and sampling rates up to 192kHz. Engineered for professional audio applications, the HDSPe AoX-D card integrates seamlessly with any DAW on both macOS and Windows operating systems. For mobile recording, it can be installed in a Thunderbolt enclosure and used with a laptop. With rock-solid drivers and high-end components, the HDSPe AoX-D card is built to handle the most demanding studio tasks.
