The RME 12Mic-D microphone preamp gives you 12 pristine mic preamps with complete remote control for high-end studio recording and live sound. Designed for next-generation audio networking, the 12Mic-D integrates seamlessly with Dante and MADI systems to provide maximum flexibility. With 75dB of gain and outstanding 24-bit converters, the 12Mic-D captures every nuance of your performance.

Twelve Transparent Mic Preamps

The 12Mic-D's PAD-free mic preamps provide an incredible 75dB of gain with extremely low noise. The preamps are designed to add as little color as possible so you can capture the true character of any mic. With 12 preamps, you have enough inputs for miking a drum kit, guitar cabinet, piano and more. The first four channels also feature Hi-Z instrument inputs for direct recording of bass, guitar and keyboards.

Maximum Flexibility Through Dante and MADI

In addition to Dante, the 12Mic-D provides MADI connectivity with an optional optical module. The preamp integrates seamlessly with Dante networks, allowing you to combine analog and digital I/O channels. You can route any of the 12 analog inputs to the Dante network and up to 64 Dante channels back to the 12Mic-D. The preamp also provides ADAT I/O for integrating with your digital consoles and interfaces.

Roadworthy, Studio-Quality Design

RME designed the 12Mic-D to the highest standards for professional use. With fully redundant Dante ports the 12Mic-D keeps working even under demanding conditions. For no-compromise preamp tone that stands up to the challenges of professional recording, rely on the RME 12Mic-D.
