Authentic Turntable Response From Motorized Platters

At the heart of the PERFORMER are its two 7" motorized aluminum platters, complete with acrylic vinyl discs magnetically attached on top. This innovative design achieves the familiar feel and response of real vinyl, with the discs providing accurate feedback for all your cuts, scratches and juggling tricks. You’ll experience the same resistance and release as a turntable platter, allowing you to develop your skills on a controller that performs like the real thing. Adjustable rings allow you to tweak the feel to your liking. Each high-torque platter sports a vibrant 3.5" center display for waveform monitoring and album art.

Dual-Rail Magnetic Faders Deliver Butter-Smooth Mixing

The PERFORMER’s 4-channel mixer section is equipped with RANE’s proprietary PRECISION FEEL faders. This makes for mixing that’s supremely consistent and responsive. These unique dual-rail magnetic faders utilize the same mechanism as the legendary MAG FOUR crossfader, mounted vertically on the circuit board. The result is an ultrasmooth, linear feel with zero sticking as you blend sources and sculpt the perfect mix. You can even reverse the faders’ motion and adjust the cut-in curve for a fully customized experience.

The PERFORMER takes stem separation to new heights with multiple options for creative open-format DJing. The STEM SPLIT function automatically isolates vocals and instrumentation across two channels, granting you independent control over the elements. Use STEM LEVEL to adjust, solo or mute individual stem components on the fly via the channel EQs. A dedicated STEM pad mode maps stems to the performance pads for tactile control. You can even trigger a capella and instrumental versions at the touch of a button for seamless transitions.

Expansive FX Suite and Customizable Pads

Inject excitement into your mixes using the PERFORMER’s deep internal FX engine offering 29 main FX and four channel FX. Use the toggles to engage classics, like reverb and echo, or get experimental with unique effects like Scale Down and Recycler. The faders can even be assigned as modulators for real-time expression control. Eight multicolor performance pads on each deck—a total of 16—provide further creative outlets, complete with OLED displays for visual feedback on pad modes and samples. You can easily map your own sounds and combinations to the pads for on-the-fly triggering.
