Description
Primacoustic Broadway Broadband Panels are attractive acoustic absorbers that are easy to install. Broadway Panels are a great solution for acoustic treatment where you want maximum control over primary reflections, need to eliminate flutter echo, and reduce standing waves.
Made from 6-pound-per-cubic-foot, high-density fiberglass, these larger 24" x 48" absorptive panels have an increased panel surface to maximize absorption—this makes Primacoustic Broadway Panels particularly effective in larger installations and in rooms where the reverberant field and echo is excessive. Broadband Absorbers can be butted-up for complete wall coverage and maximum absorption or spread in an array for a sense of “air” or natural ambiance.
The large panel design also lends itself to other installations: To control bass in studio and home theater, thicker 2" and 3" Broadband Absorbers are combined with Corner or Offset Impalers to create an air cavity behind the panel. For general office noise, thinner 1" panels are easily flush mounted on the wall surfaces using Surface impalers to attenuate the reverberant field. These same panels offer an effective upgrade for drop ceilings as the 2’ x 4’ panel size ideally suits standard T-bare grid layouts. This can be particularly effective in commercial installations such as noisy offices, call centers and for boardrooms that need added sound control.
Primacoustic Broadway is a range of high-performance acoustic panels designed for use in the most demanding commercial applications where performance and safety are of utmost concern.
Broadway panels are four to five times denser than typical acoustic foam resulting in greater sound absorption. Each panel is fully encapsulated with micromesh and features resin hardened edges. This retains the minute fiberglass strands while the sharp edges accentuate the contrast in more demanding architectural installations. Panels may alternately be covered with a second fabric to suit those with greater artistic flare.
Installation is easy with a choice of impaling clips that screw to the wall. Options include standard surface mount impalers; offset impalers that add an air space behind the panels to increase bass performance; and corner impalers that turn a typical Broadway panel into a serious corner bass trap.
Broadway panels are also employed in the construction of various Primacoustic room kits, bass traps, and cloud ceiling systems. Applications include recording studios, broadcast facilities, home theater, cinema, classrooms, office and industrial noise control. Best of all, they are safe to use. Broadway panels have been tested to meet the most stringent Class-1 fire safety specifications for use in public areas. This is further supported with independent laboratory tests to ensure the acoustic performance meets the most demanding design specifications.
