I will preface this by saying...I am a huge fan of Pintech, and probably 85% of my kit is Pintech products that I love and I would have no problem recommending them to anyone looking to get any electronic drums or triggers. With that being said...this is the only product that kind of fell short for me. They look great, they play kind of stiff and rigid...not quite the feel of an actual set of hi-hats that wobble when you hit them with the pedal open or partially open. The biggest problem I had with them is that there is a ring of foam on the inside of each cymbal. Whenever you let your foot off the pedal to raise the top cymbal, it creates suction and the bottom cymbal will often stick to the top one for a moment before falling back into place. It made it nearly impossible to do any kind of intricate playing on the hi-hat where you open and close them a lot. If you are a rock drummer and just hit it to keep a beat...these would probably work for you. But if you like to do a lot of intricate stuff on a hi-hat, these will probably not work for you. If there was some way that you could attach the bottom cymbal to your hi-hat stand so it couldn't move up (Like the Roland VH-12 or VH-13)...these would probably work a lot better. I tried these hi-hats with 3 different modules (Alesis DM Pro, Alesis DM-10, & Roland TD-30) and no matter how hard I tried to tweak the settings, they just didn't perform the way I needed them to. I ended up selling them on ebay (for almost half what I paid for them) and I got a used set of Roland VH-12 hi-hats. They work like a dream and you can find a lot of used sets for cheaper than these Pintech ones.
