Description
Zoom's LiveTrak L-8 makes recording and mixing high-quality audio easy for podcasters, musicians and small ensembles. With six studio-grade mic preamps, built-in effects and separate headphone monitor mixes, the L-8 ensures pristine sound for any production.
Six Versatile Mic Preamps Provide Pristine Recordings
The L-8 features six high-performance preamps, each with 48V phantom power, a low noise floor (-121dBU) and up to 54dB of gain for crystal-clear recordings. Two inputs accept hi-Z signals for direct recording of electric guitars and basses. Line-level inputs and a USB stereo return provide additional connectivity. Dial in the ideal sound using the 3-band EQ and reverb/delay effects on each channel.
Multitrack Recording and Mixing On the Go
Record up to 12 tracks simultaneously, plus a stereo mix, directly to an SD card at up to 96kHz/24-bit resolution. Overdub, punch in and create custom mixes with ease while monitoring through the four headphone outputs. Power the L-8 for up to 2.5 hours using four AA batteries or a USB power bank for recording in remote locations. A built-in USB audio interface allows streaming and recording with your computer.
Flexible Monitoring Gives Each Performer Their Own Mix
The L-8 provides three separate monitor mixes so each performer can have a tailored listening experience. Send different combinations of inputs and effects to the three monitor busses for the ideal blend in each performer's headphones or stage wedge. Mute channels, set pan positions and adjust levels for maximum comfort and control over what each performer hears.
Designed for Podcasters and Musicians Alike
Whether you're recording a podcast, livestreaming a performance or laying down tracks for your next album, the L-8 delivers professional results. Dedicated sound pads and mix-minus make it easy to incorporate remote guests and call-ins. Save up to seven "scenes" to quickly recall your favorite settings. The L-8's portable, intuitive design provides an all-in-one solution for audio production on the go.
