Description
The UF8 DAW Control Surface by Solid State Logic, is a high-performance USB MIDI controller that provides musicians and audio engineers an intuitive, hands-on interface for operating DAW software and virtual instruments with precision and speed. Its eight 100 mm faders, eight assignable rotary encoders and 49 backlit buttons give users customizable, comprehensive control over their DAW environment, virtual instruments, and effect plug-ins. The UF8 was designed with an adaptable, modular layout so users can place fader banks, knob modules and button clusters in the configuration that suits their workflow best.
Eight Long-Throw Faders for Precise Level Control
The UF8's 100 mm faders provide smooth, high-resolution control over channel levels, send levels and virtual instrument parameters. Their extra-long throw gives users a wider range of motion for fine-tuning levels with pinpoint accuracy. Fader banks can be reassigned to control any parameter in a DAW or virtual instrument.
Eight Rotary Encoders for Quick Parameter Changes
The UF8's rotary encoders are ideal for tweaking EQs, synth parameters, effect settings and more. They provide high-resolution control that's perfect for making broad changes or fine adjustments. Encoders can be reassigned to control any rotary parameter in a DAW, virtual instrument or effect plug-in.
49 LED Backlit Buttons for Triggering and Automation
The UF8's LED backlit buttons are fully programmable. They can be used to trigger tracks, clips and scenes in a DAW, play notes on a virtual instrument, tap tempos, start/stop transports and automate parameters. Button functions and layouts are customizable using the UF8 Editor software.
Modular Design Provides an Adaptable Workflow
The UF8's modular layout can be reconfigured to suit any workflow. Fader banks, knob modules and button clusters can be placed in any position on the surface. Modules magnetically lock into place on the UF8's metal surface, so rearranging components is quick and easy. Preset configurations can be saved and recalled for different tasks.
